About the event
Some elements are still to be determined. The terrain of the play area will likely determine these elements.
Stickball will be played with either a tennis ball or a Spaldeen bouncy ball.
We will either be slow pitching to batters, or single bounce pitching, or possibly fungo style (where there is no pitcher and the batter tosses the ball into the air and hits it themselves).
Generally, the main rules of baseball are respected. In addition to the traditional ways of making an out (strikeout, fly out, tag out, and force out), stickball also features plugging, meaning that a fielder can throw the ball and strike a baserunner who is not safely touching a base to make an out.
